West Bengal Central School Service Commission published a notification in their official website on 10/06/2015 vide memo no 1089/5278(III)/CSSC/ESTT/2015 with Advertisement N. 01/TET/2015 for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test for Recruitment of Assistant Teacher in Upper Primary Level (Class V to VIII) in the schools of West Bengal. First of all it is here by loudly announced that WBSSC - West Bengal School Service Commission is now changed to WBCSSC - West Bengal Central School Service Commission. The change of name has been updated in everywhere instead of Website URL. The web address www.westbengalssc.com is valid as WBCSSC's official website address.

Finally the good news comes! the wait time expired. All the would be teachers are happy having heard the official declaration of conducting TET 2015 by WBCSSC. Commencement of TET 2015 is not only the good news but there are some thing interesting which is relaxation regarding eligibility criteria. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of School Education and Literacy) have permitted WBCSSC to allow non-trained candidates to appear not only in the TET Exam but also to empanel them. The Application mode for WBCSSC TET 2015 Upper Primary Level will be through Online Only.

Fee Payment 
a) who applied in TET 2013 need not pay fee but [earlier fee payment proof required]
b) Fresh Candidate may Pay Fee through e-Challan (EASY PAY/ Power EcollNEFT) from 19/06/2015 to 03/07/2015

Admit Card Availability : 1st August Onwards (Approximate)

Commencement of TEST / Exam : 16/08/2015 (Sunday)

Eligibility Criteria for WBCSSC TET 2015 :

The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification and criteria etc. are eligible for appearing in TET- 2015, (Upper Primary Level).
(a)  Citizenship:  Only citizen of India can apply for the said Teacher Eligibility Test i.e TET -2015 , (Upper Primary Level).

(b) The candidate should satisfy himself/herself about his/her eligibility before applying asn shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per given eligibility criteria. it is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), it does not imply that the candidate's eligibility has been verified. it does not vest any right with the candidate for appointment. The eligibility even for a candidate who has qualified in TET-2015, (Upper Primary Level) shall be finally verified by the concerned selecting authority / recruiting agency / appointing authority.

(c) Educational Qualification : Persons having the following educational qualification are eligible for appearing in TET.

• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or,
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). or,
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-  year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms  and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. or,
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). or,
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. or,
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education). or,
• Graduation with at least 50% marks as per relaxation given by Ministry of Human Resource Development  (Department  of School Education and Literacy)  vide notification number S.O. 918(E) dated 1st April ,2015, which was published in the Gazette of India on 1st April 2015). [*** This relaxation is applicable till 31st March 2016]

About The Examination 

• Asper announcement the Upper Primary TET 2015 will be held by WBCSSC on 30 August 2015,  Sunday [30/08/2015]. 
• There will be OMR based marking test against 150 Multiple Choice Type Question (MCQ). 
• A candidate will be allowed 90 minutes (1hour 30 minutes) as exam duration. 
• Full marks for TET will be 150 and each MCQ Type questions will be of 1 mark.
• There will be no negetive marking for wrong answers.
• Syllabus of TET will beasper NCTE guidelines. Language of the question paper (for mathematics, Science and Social Studies) will be bilingual (English/Bengali)
• Pass Mark : A Person who scores 60% or more in the TET examination will be considered as TET pass. However relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/PH. 

Fees for Examination [only for Fresh Candidate] :
(a) Application fees for General and OBC-A/OBC-B candidates: Rs. 250 /-
(b) Application fees for reserved (SC/ST/ PH-VH/PH-HI/PH-OH) categories: Rs.80 /-

Applicability of WBCSSC TET Certifiate :
i) TET-2015, (Upper Primary Level)shall apply to Schools managed by The Government of  West Bengal/Local bodies and aided/ sponsored schools in West Bengal.
ii) TET-2015, (Upper Primary Level) may also apply to other schools or equivalent educational institutions, if such schools/educational institutions opt for it.

Syllabus for WBCSSC Upper Primary TET 2015 :

Part i)
Child Development & Pedagogy (Compulsory) No of Question is 30 and Full Marks is 30.

Part ii)
Language I (Compulsory) No of Question is 30 and Full Marks is 30.

Part iii)
Language II (Compulsory) No of Question is 30 and Full Marks is 30.

Part iv)
Part IV consist of 3 sub section any one applicable (No of Question is 60 and Full Marks is 60)

• (a) For Mathematics and Science Teacher : Mathematics and Science.
• (b) For Social Studies Teacher : Social Studies.
• (c) For Any Other Teacher either (a) or (b) in Part IV.

How to Apply :

What you need before you Start Online Form fillup for SSC TET 2015.
1) Scanned Photo with Signature in .JPEG/JPG format (Size Limit : 10 to 30 KB).
2) Marksheet of Educational Qualification.
3) Form Number of TET 2013 (Only for those who have already applied for TET 2013).

The candidates who have already applied in offline mode for appearing in TET 2013 of WBCSSC and Fresh eligible candidates willing to appear in the TET 2015 can apply online through the official website of WBCSSC which is > www.westbengalssc.com [ Here are two Application Type Choose Any One]

To apply in Online Mode  first visit the website and click on "Go for Online Application" and now you have to choose the candidate type. Click >  ALREADY APPLIED (TET 2013)

If you have already applied then Click on the button 'Apply Existing' below. Please note that you have to produce the proof of payment, otherwise your application will not be approved. 

Now enter your Form Number of 13th RLST and Type your FULL NAME as per previous application after that you have to click on Security Captcha Code and next click submit to go forward.

17. Again Enter Security Capcha Code
18. Click Preview Form to Verify Details you have filled.
19. Finally Click Save & Next  
20. Now Upload your Photo
21. Click Final Submit

After completing all the necessary steps Existing TET 2013 candidate can print the filled in application form with New Application ID by clicking the "Print Application Form" Button. TET 2013 Candidate Need not Pay Fee but They Need to Provide Previous Fee Payment Receipt.

WBCSSC TET 2015 Application Process for Fresh/New Candidate.

To apply in Online Mode  first visit the website and click on "Go for Online Application" and now you have to choose the candidate type. Choose >  DO YOU WANT TO APPLY AFRESH?

If you want to apply AFRESH, then click on the button 'Apply Afresh'. You are required to pay the Fees otherwise your application will not be approved.

On Final Submission of TET Application form a Fresh Candidate will be provided 2 Option for Fee Payment 1) Fee Payment by AXIS Bank NEFT 2) Fee Payment AXIS Bank Cash Challan. a candidate need to choose any one method which as per his/her convenience. Please pay fee after 24 hours after Generating Challan to avoid problems.

Fee payment for NEW APPLICANTS.

Pay through : Axis Bank CASH Challan
1) Generate & Take Printout of Cash Challan
2) Visit Only Designated AXIS Bank Branch Only
3) Pay Fee.
*) The Cashier will accept cash and return  APPLICANT’S Copy with bank’s seal & signature to the applicant. The Bank’s copy will be retained by the Axis Bank Branch.

Pay through: Axis Bank NEFT Challan
1) Generate & Take Printout of NEFT Challan
2) Fill Bank Name, Branch Name, Date, Name of Applicant, Mobile No, Sign at Proper Place,
3) Visit Any Bank Branch where you have a bank account.
4) Pay Fee.

*) Additional form may be filled by bank [check/withdrawal slips may be required]. Additional NEFT charges may be applied extra. The Bank Official will remit the fee through NEFT and a Customer Acknowledgement Slip will be given by the bank official in return. Preserve the Payment Acknowledgement for future references.
