Nabanna Scholarship 2016 from Chief Minister’s Relief and Discretionary Fund for the Students in West Bengal

Chief Minister's Education Relief Fund WB ; (Nabanna Scholarship) To ensure a good educational environment in our society our Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal is providing Educational Assistance for the Purpose of Higher Education to the students of needy family. Financial assistance approximately of Rs. 10,000/- is granted for one time to the students who will be selected for grant.

Eligibility Criteria for Educational Assistance from WB Chief Minister's Relief Fund:

To get Educational Assistance from the above scheme a candidate should fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

• Permanent Resident of West Bengal.
• Presently Studying in any Institution after Passing State recognized Board/Council or State aided University in West Bengal
• Candidates secured the following marks
  
  • Who got 65% Marks in Madhyamik Examination for Scholarship in Higher Secondary (10+2) level.
  • Who got 60% Marks in Higher Secondary (H.S) Examination for Scholarship in Under Graduate Level.
  • Who got 55% Marks in UG Level for Scholarship in Post Graduate (PG)Level.
• Candidates who do not receive any other scholarship or stipend from Central/State government for the same course or stage of study.
• Whose family income is not more than Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand) per year.

Apply > Receiving of Application > Processing at CMRF Cell > Verification > Sanction of Assistance > Publication Sanction List/Application Status (wbcm.gov.in) > Dispatch of Sanction Letter > Collection of Assistance, showing Sanction Letter from NABANNA/Writers Building, Kolkata.

Period of Application for this Assistance.

Actually there is no crucial time frame or the last date of Applying for this scholarship. [for information about last date you may contact the phone number provided below]. Anyone who fulfill the above eligibility criteria for this scholarship should "Apply within one month or sooner after taking Admission in respective schools/colleges". Its always appreciated that good opportunity should be seized in correct time, so act accordingly..!

How to Apply for receiving Educational Assistance under CM's Relief Fund ?

Students who are willing to receive Educational grant from Chief Minister's Relief Fund or Chief Minister's Discretionary Relief Fund need to apply through written Application on a Plain Paper. You can apply through a Application Format which is available in our website. But... We will suggest you to Apply through Self Written Application. Prepare the Application & Requisites/Documents for availing the Educational Scholarship. Being completed in all respect you should submit the application in person to WBCMO - West Bengal Chief Minister's Office located at the following address.

Documents/Enclosures to be submitted with the application.

1. Copies of Marksheets of All Previous Examination Passed. (10th Class Onward)
2. #Copies of Rank Card & Alotment Letter of Selection Committee. 
3. Copy of Monthly Family Income Certificate from any one one mentioned within the bracket. (DW/SDO/BDO/Group-A Govt Officer not below rank of Joint B.D.O/Executive Officer in Case of Municipality / Deputy Commissioner of Corporation)
4. Copy of Recommendation from MP/MLA stating monthly family income of the student.
5. Self Declaration of the student under his/her signature regarding present course of study mentioning year/semester and receipt of any scholarship/aid/asistance, duly countersigned by the head of the Present Institution with seal.
