Rabindra Bharati M.Phil Admission 2015-2016; Rabindra Bharati University has published a notification for admission to the course Two Full Year Master of Philosophy in the various subjects in semester system under the faculty of Arts and Fine Arts for the session 2015-2016.

Eligibility for the course of Master of Philosophy :
Candidates must have attained 55% marks in their Master Degree ( 50% for SC,ST,PWD, &PH) or its equivalent from any UGC recognized University

Examination Exemption :
The applicants who have been qualified NET / SET / GATE / UGC (JRF) / CSIR (JRF) will be exempted from Written Examination Test.
Admission Process :
All the candidates except o exempted category will have to appear for the Written Examination test and qualified candidates will have to attend an interview by the department concerned.
Written Entrance and Examination Test :
Only Eligible candidates will be taken for selection for the admission to M.Phil Course or Programmes. The Examination will be of 100 marks and Exam Hour will be 3 Hours including two halves of 50 marks each.
The Qualifying mark for each Candidate is of 40% (30 % for SC/ST/PWD (PH)} individually as qualifying marks in both halves ( 1st half and 2nd half ).
For qualifying the interview each candidate require to score at least 50% of marks (45 % for
SC/ST/PWD (PH)} marks (marks of 1st half and 2nd half taken together after screening the qualifying marks of 40% {(30 % for SC/ST/PWD (PH)}individually in both halves ( 1st half and 2nd half ) out of 100 marks.
Interview:
Each and every qualified candidate as well as who have cleared NET / SET / GATE / UGC (JRF) / CSIR (JRF) or Teacher Fellowship Holder will be required to appear in Interview of 50 marks.
***Note : Qualifying VIVA marks for admission to M.Phil Course is at least 50% (45% for SC,ST & PWD (PH).

charge of Bank for PWD(PH) candidates)

- Second half is subject oriented which include Objective Type Questions (10 marks), Short Answer Type Questions (20 marks) and Essay writing on given topic or areas of interest of the candidate etc. (within 300 words) (20 marks).
