Details of JEXPO Entrance Exam 2016 :

Exam Date	23rd May, 2016 (Monday)
Exam Time	Mathematics (100 Marks) from 10 A.M to 12 NOON. and Physics & Chemistry (100 Marks) 1 PM to 3 PM.
Duration	Total Duration of Exam is 4 Hours.
Question Type	MCQ - Multiple Choice Question

Scheme of Examination for JEXPO 2016 :

The JEXPO-2016, will be conducted in two papers comprising "Mathematics (First Paper)" and Physics & Chemistry (Second Paper)" for admission of students to Diploma Courses in Engineering/Technology. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) shall be set for both the papers. MCQ type questions will have to be answered on specially designed machine gradable answer sheets (OMR Answer Sheet). Both "Correct" as well as "Wrong" methods of answering in OMR Answer Sheet have been shown below. In the OMR Answer Sheet, appropiate circles are to be "completely filled" by using BLACK/BLUE Ball-Point pen as shown below. More than one answer against any question will be treated as incorrect responses/answer.

Instructions to the Examinee :

1. Candidates should bring with them Photo Admit Card of Madhyamik/Equivalent Examination or any other Photo Identity Card along with Application Form Submission Receipt (JEXPO­2016 Booklet) for proof of their identity, without which candidates may not be allowed to enter into the Examination Hall.
2. Candidates will bring with them Black/Blue Ball Point Pen only.
3. Candidates must enter the Examination Hall 30 minutes before the start of the examination to receive general instructions for answering MCQ type questions.
4. Candidates will not be allowed to use Graph Papers, Log Tables, Calculators, Mobile Phone, Tab, Digital Diary, Pager or other electronics devices in the Examination Hall.
5. This Provisional Admit Card must be shown to the officer supervising the examination as and when asked for.
6. Violation of any instruction and adoption of any unfair means in the Examination Hall shall render the candidate liable for cancellation of his/her answer sheet and forfeiture of his/her claim for admission.
7. All applicants who appear to be prima facie eligible are provisionally permitted to sit for this Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO­2016). If after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature will be cancelled automatically even if he/she has appeared at the examination and secure position in the merit list.
8. In case any discrepancy is observed in the data printed on this Provisional Admit Card pertaining to the candidate’s personal details, the same should be brought to the notice of the WBSCTVESD before the date of examination.
9. Claim of seats reserved for SC/ST candidates is strictly for applicants having caste certificate originated in the State of West Bengal only. SC/ST candidates belonging to other state outside West Bengal shall be treated as General category candidates.
10. Original copy of SC/ST/PC/LLQ or TFW certificate, as applicable, will be required at the time of counseling and admission.
11. Candidates must fill OMR Answer Sheet very carefully in the Sl. Nos. 9 & 1 0 as recorded in this Provisional Admit Card and Sl. No. 11 as recorded in the Question Booklet.
12. Rough work or any other type of writing should not be done on the OMR Answer Sheet. Question Booklet may be used for the purpose.
13. Candidates may download the Sample OMR Answer Sheet and Examination Schedule from this website.
14. This Provisional Admit Card should be preserved by the candidates till completion of admission process.
