WBSSC LDA/LDC Result; West Bengal Staff Selection Commission has recently released the METEOROLOGICAL ASSISTANT – MA 16 Result. Candidates can check their result from the link available in this post. RESULT OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION FOR THE POST OF METEOROLOGICAL ASSISTANT – MA 16
Category / Sub-Category wise Cut off marks : UR-87.75, OBC:A-83, OBC:B-82.5, SC-81.25, ST-62.25
The number of candidates shortlisted for document verification is 1.25 times of the vacancies under UR Category, 1.5 times of the vacancies under SC Category and 2.0 times of the vacancies under BC:A/BC:B/ST Category. All the candidates standing at the cut off marks under respective Category / Sub-Category have been shortlisted. Category wise shortlist is prepared for document verification with more candidates than vacancy to cover failures at the document verification under each category.

■ Call letters for document verification will have to be downloaded from the website of the commission.
■ If any candidate fail to produce original documents to prove required minimum qualification , his candidature will be cancelled and he will not be allowed to appear on any subsequent date.

Irrespective of Sub-category, a candidate has to obtain the minimum qualifying marks fixed for the Category he belongs to for short listing.
The Commission has withdrawn 2(two) incorrect questions and the evaluation is done on the basis of rest 98 questions. There were 07 repeated questions on question booklet no 14,95,54. So, the candidates having any one of those booklet, evaluation is done on the basis of 91 undisputed questions and equivalent weightage is given for 98 questions. Number of candidates shortlisted is 10 (ten) times of existing vacancy so that maximum number of candidates can get the opportunity to appear before the part II examination.

- The short listed candidates will be called to appear in the main(Part II) exam. The main examination shall consist of conventional descriptive type questions on Gr-A- English and Gr-B- Bengali/Hindi/Nepali/Urdu. Duration will be 1 hour.
- Date of main examination will be announced later.
Important Announcements :
- The Candidates are requested to bring to the notice of the Commission, any discrepancy like mismatch in Category / Sub-Category between Application Form and result data, if detected by them, by 25.9.16 through email or by submitting application in person.
- The candidates who have not qualified in Written Examination will be allowed to view their scanned OMR answer scripts on-line on payment of on-line processing fee of Rs.100/- by using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking or Tathya Mitra Kendras for which they have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 5.62 as payment gateway charges through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking or Rs.10.00 as handling charges by Tathya Mitra Kendras .
- Period for payment of on-line fees for viewing on-line scanned images of OMR answer scripts will be from 22.9.16 to 26.9.16 and period for viewing OMR answer scripts will be from 29.9.16 to 04.10.16. Candidates selected finally will be allowed to view their scanned OMR answer scripts on-line after publication of final results.
